  everything's fine. Got a raise. Springfield still sucks. Everyone is good and still not getting
married until 2010.

I have been trying to figure out what I want to do with myself. My life really. Since I didnt get to New Orleans due to lack of funding on my half to help, and since I really want to do humanitarian aid, I'm heading into the peace corp probably right after we get married.
Its a while off. But this is something I feel I need to do and I wish that I had done this straight out of college. I wish I had packed my bags and stepped out into the world but who knows where I would of ended.
so thats where I'm at. Dead end job, struggling in art. I have two years to think this out properly. Get my finances in order and then i think I will be out of the states for 2 1/2 years. Luckily Kait is super supportive.
No more wants of being a cop of any sort. this is it. and then? we'll see.

  finally all moved in.
We didnt buy a house but we are renting a really awesome one. its a two bedroom ranch with central air, close to the school, and the dogs have a back yard to run loops in. So that's nice.

Kait just started school and I've been riding all over mass for my job. I guess I get to learn the area and all that jazz.

my goals for the next year:

save money for motorcycle
buy a bicycle so i can start competing
go to twilight

I would add wedding to that list but we are waiting two years. Sorry all, free booze is on hold.

  Ok so I'm taking off to Jamaica for a few days and when I get back its mass packing time.
Kait's parents have told us we can move in with them until we get our house.
Which means there is a lot to do before we shuffle in with them, mostly it is getting rid of the puppy that we are fostering.
I thought we may keep him at one point but he is a super handful and I really dont want three dogs. Kait is in agreement and when we get back he is going to be completely in the hands of the rescue group we were buddying up to.

Kaitlin has decided on Western Mass as her school of choice and we are looking to have a house by aug.

  starting new job t minus...uh some hours and some more hours

I will def. miss the manor in terms of cats and despite my annoyance, i will miss kristen, kelly, and most of all zach.
but the drama is now over and i am moving onwards and upwards.
the new job has me moving around all over. I'm the only person being a service manager in the area, and i have 6 people that delegate installations to me. this means more work and more money. I cant complain. I was making borderline poor. I couldnt pay my bills and if one thing came up (e.g. my cats getting really sick) i had to borrow money in order to make it. I can now get ontop of the borrowed money i owe, pay off my car, pay the mortgage...i think things will get better.

also, either Kait is coming up here now...(oh sure now that we brought a truck load of her stuff down) or im still moving down in september of next year. Depends on a few things, so im uncertain.

Alot of things have been placed on the back burner which I'm sure, for some, is for the better.
1. getting married. we have the approval of all but her parents (my mom surprisingly was for it), and that has to pass before i feel comfortable making the commitment.(though we totally were super close to eloping...but we both got cold feet.)
2. Grad School. a couple programs i'm looking into: Art History: emphasis on Art in 1930's Germany or Art during the Italian Industrial Revolution., and studio

oh and in other other news....WHO is going to see the colbert report Nov.30th? Me.

  alumni weekend went well.

brought Kait down on friday along with the ladies. After visiting the DMV we headed over to o-town so she could meet Dr. Ayer and Nancy. We also ran into Dave and his lovely lady and after meandering around with them we headed indoors to get ourselves a) free coffee and b) a beer tote.
later we went back home, ate dinner with the mom, and then headed back to drink in o-town.
We started in Jason's hotel room (holy christ beer in the tub) and ended up at the bullet where we met up with amy, stacy, jenna, and amy's friend.
Who knows when we left? I was pretty smashed and kait drove.
Saturday we kicked around, walked the ladies and went out to meet people around 9.
We stopped into reds first before will, kait, and i went over to jenna's.
a) jennas house was hoppin
b) i wish we had a little more time with them before having to go back to see everyone at reds
c) my uncomfortable nervousness righted itself before we left.
reds well, I saw so many people that i missed and there are plenty of horrible pictures of me. But kaitlin fit in well and she enjoyed herself later on in the game. Will brought us home which was awesome of him and apparently kait stayed up till 5 with my mom talking.
Sunday we took the girls hiking, came back, ate the dinners with will and the grandparents and came home.
I had one more day with Kait and then back to the city she went.


its never too late to fix things I guess
I miss certain people, but It'll take time.

  almost called cops on my ex.
oh yeah thats right:
ended things with krystal, shes been increasingly violent with me and i just want to run but i cant cause of the animals.
I cant even describe what she did to me without crying so know this...her face into the bathroom door...she did the smashing.

me and jillian, thats right folks, back to not talking again. thats a usual thing I'm afraid.
i'm seeing someone else and she treats me really well.<----more about this later,
